Solved: 8 Years, 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Penumbra modding

Hello, me and some friends are trying to mod penumbra and i have a problem, when i have made my test map and try to view i set location1 as start then view but all i see it well nothing it´s totally black any ideas why, so i can fix this it would be very appreciated

First off, press "4"
Than pan and rotate the camera around.

If you notice any white lines, than the light isn't working, or is too weak.

If you notice white lines, but form into triangles/textures form into triangles after being lit, it means you forgot to triangulate (export option in collada)

If there are no white lines, than the texture is likely bad (penumbra can't find it. The file must be in a folder and the user file, which hplhelper can addon to. It's a very annoying process, which hopefully hpl2 avoids)

If the texture appears on the 'wrong' side of the object, you need to reverse backface culling (maya: space>advance Polygon Options>backfaces>reverse or something akin to that)
