RE: [Updated thread] Need help

I just saved the link to my uploaded mod as a bookmark.

I guess this should work for you too. I just went to my profile and I could click "mods" to see the pages for my uploaded mods.

How did you export your model? Settings?

Through Cinema 4D, with export triangles option and geometry. File format Collada 1.4 (alternative variant 1.5 no differences between them) maybe file size is the problem? or mesh is corrupt, by the way, I got another model, compiled from obj to dae, works perfect.

Everything are alright , but i'd like to know which causes could bring meshes to crash or freeze in editor.

maybe it's because of numerous textures applied on mesh? Mesh is elaborated, a lot of parts.

As long as it only had 1 lambert material, the amount of texture in your file shouldn't matter. I don't know Cinema 4D though.

textures in C4D are located correctly on mesh but in ModelWiewer only one texture is visible and only one mat file is created, "tex3.mat" but I'm using three different textures and they aren\t showing up Sad Someone encountered a problem such this?

RE: [Updated thread] Need help

You can only use 1 texture per lambert and 1 lambert per mesh. You can have multiple meshes in your model with different textures, but they need to be separate objects. If you combine them, they can no longer use different lamberts.

Hey guys, what is an compound in HPL2? I saw a lot of combined objects, but I never understood how to combine them.

Basically they are multiple objects combined into one. They rotate, move and scale together. If they're not compound, they will do it separately but at the same time.
Select a few objects and then click B. Click B again to make them separate again. I advise you use it, it's very comfy at times.
