Monster Silent

How can I make my monster silent? I have tried editing the .ent file and removed the music but there is still that repeated screeching sound effect. Any idea on how to make it completely silent?

Go into the .ent and into the animations. Edit out all .snt sounds from the events in each animation.

The monster should be silent. Make sure the edited monster is not saved over the original monster.

I am pretty sure I got them all but I am still getting that sound when the monster runs at me: http://pastebin.com/ZFmjMUyk I am using the creepy girl custom monster and it does not have hit animations or anything.

I see you are using the actual CODE of the .ent. For flexibility use the model editor, open your monster, and delete ALL SOUND EVENTS from the events editor of ALL ANIMATIONS.

This should stop ANY sounds coming from the entity.

:O I got an error opening the model! http://gyazo.com/8989cedab7cd15692e4ea1a6856809d1 May have to just do this one with sound :/

If you have the ORIGINAL MODEL you can still have a noiseless model by copying the model and editing it in the model editor instead of Notepad. It should work.

Jewjitsu, I think the "repeated screeching" you're talking about is the terror sound.

It applies to all enemies. If you're working on a FC, you can edit it in the game.cfg, but not if you're working on a custom story.

NOO noooo!!!
Just remove the sounds in the "USER DEFINED VARIABLES"...
there are Attack \ Notice sound \ Enable sound \ AMbient Alert.. etc...
THERE you should remove them.
Good luck.
DONT OVERWRITE ORIGINAL Monsters or anything!
