Solved: 8 Years, 1 Month ago Game crashes! (HPL log included)

Tried to play Amnesia again after a long time rest from the game in general, thanks to real life issues and what not, and the first thing that happens when I am entering the Storage level (the part of the level with the Grunt behind the closed door in the kitchen equipment designed area is that the game totally crashes for me.

All the sounds can be heard and so, but the game freezes up, like if there is specific files missing for making the game itself execute various scripts et.c et.c. This is also on the Steam version of the game, so.

Anything that can solve this problem, perhaps?

Check attached HPL log and see if you can find anything special in it?

Nevermind Big Grin

Solved 1 of the problems by adjusting the playback settings for my audiocard. It was set to 32-bit 4800000 Mhz playback bitrate (something?) which caused the game and OS to panic.

But why does the HPL log tell me that certain assets and meshes et.c are missing?

That's a good question, try an integrity check?

Already tried it :/

Everything seems to be normal. Can it be some file permission issues perhaps?
