[solved]The game quit at loading screen

Hello!

I installed the game to my home directory. Everything worked ok with the install. I start the game and click the continue buttons, but at the loading page the game is quit. I read the log file (hpl.log), but I don't see any problematic. What should be my next step?

Edit: If I start with the launcher.bin I see this error messages is terminal:

Error: API mismatch: the NVIDIA kernel module has version 256.44,
but this NVIDIA driver component has version 256.53. Please make
sure that the kernel module and all NVIDIA driver components
have the same version.

I use Ubuntu Maverick (development version). This could be the problem?

It could be, probably as it says that you need to "Please make sure that the kernel module and all NVIDIA driver components have the same version."

I re-installed the nvidia driver and it solved the problem. Sorry for the topic.
