Gamestar Review
Hey there, the most popular magazine in Germany just rated Amnesia the Dark Descent: http://www.gamestar.de/spiele/amnesia-th...45685.html

Since i dont think that there are much germans around here, i took the time to translate the rating.

Graphics 7/10:
+ detailed Rooms
+ nice light atmosphere
- simpel architecture
- lots of item recycling

Sound 9/10:
+ awesome Sorround Effects
+ good (english) voice acting
+ atmospheric minimal-music...,
- ...which repeats itself to often
- not every Text is voiced

Balance 10/10:
+ cautios entering in the game via helptexts
+ automatic memorial
+ Items highlighted
+ many automatic checkpoints
+ fair Respawn System

Atmosphere 10/10:
+ amazing frictional situations
+ Panic- and Helplessfeeling
+ believable physics
+ good changeover between calm and rush situations

Control 9/10:
+ intuitive "grip-in-the-world" (hard to translate, they are talking about the feature that you can touch everything thats in the world)
+ well sorted inventory
+ no Interface is interfering with the atmosphere
- sometimes long-winded

Length 6/10:
+ good playtime for the price
+ many varied levels
+ three endings...
- ... which are not really different
- no replay value

Story 8/10:
+ good but not innovative Mystery-Story
+ you get piece for piece of the story on your memorial
+ stimulates the players fantasy
- very vague ending

Puzzles 8/10:
+ use of the Inventory and simple Logisticpuzzles
+ well done physik puzzles
+ hiding from enemys instead of fighting them
- only a few "real" puzzles

Characters 6/10:
+ only a few but well-defined characters
+ mysterious antagonist
+ you slowly get to know the hero
- practicly no direct-contact with other persons

Rating: 80/100

Kinda I guess but they want to underline the fact that your cursor is like a hand in the world of the game.
