I just got a spectacular idea. I shall recreate the mansion from "Rocky Horror Picture Show" along with a suitable plot.

Hey, that's really quite something. The zen room, the elevator, entrance hall, that should all be okay. The pink room, though, that'll be the challenge.

There is a place simply called The Mansion that has been mentioned in my pen-and-paper roleplaying group that I might try making. It is best if it has some exterior accessibility - at least inside the grounds' outer walls.

It will be something of a Thief-style treasure hunt with locked doors (find the key!) and lower areas with mechanical systems to open a large door and, well, we'll see what lies beyond that, hey? Wink

EDIT: Oh, and I will be documenting the development on my blog, Keys Akimbo, linked below.

Thats great an all. Just try not to focus to much on Resident Evil case. Mansions has always been a set piece for horror genre's and I have to say it does start to get old after awhile. Good luck on it as always.

@Quakeman224

Haven't played Resident Evil since the first one, on the PS1, over a decade ago so I don't think there's much chance of that Tongue My mansion is more inspired by gothic/weird horror, high fantasy and late-Georgian/early-Victorian architecture. Thanks for offering your luck!

Does someone know if the Editor will be a free thing to download from a mirror, or will it be only available if you bought it from the frictional games store?

After I play around with the engine, I have most of a novel written out that I could see transfer very well into HPL so that will likely be my big project.
