RE: Rating?
Personally... I think it should be rated M for Mature. Besides, look at Half Life 2! Penumbra may not fall in the same genre as HL2 does, but it sure is just as realistic!!! I mean come on... Alone in the Dark by Interplay had some blood and guts and that was an adventure game from 1992 and it was kickass as a result of the violence. Tongue Don't get me wrong, I don't like gratuitous violence, but the monsters should bleed a little bit. Those dynamite explosions should tear anything to shreds. Ok.. I'm rambling on here........

Not really, Gears of War is really gory but it sells very well.

Shocked RE: Rating?
hey i just saw this game on gamespot and it says that the rating is 12+ idk if that is true or not (they might just or probably are guessing) so that might solve your problem and you can tell your parents that at http://www.gamespot.com says thats it's rated 12+

RE: Rating?
Just because it isn't children oriented, doen't really mean we need f*ing and s*ing, not all adults (or young adults) say f* or s* at all.

Personally, I won't even consider buying the game if it has f*ing or s*ing in it (well, maybe s*ing)

RE: Rating?
Update on the rating:

The Pegi rating will most likely be 16+, we might have to do some very silly cencuring though. Apparently we cannot give out too detailed bomb-making details Tongue

RE: Rating?
Ok i guess Im reviving a dead thread, but apparently the game is rated 12+ in Europe which probably means a T in the US, but you never know with the ESRB...

I am 99.9% sure now that the PEGI rating will be 12+. Which is strange to me but I guess children can stand more these days Wink
