Too true. I still wouldn't mind some sort of series on building maps. There are some many things in the editor that I just don't know what to do with.

So far I've learned a lot on my own, but still, some tips and tricks on map building would be fantastic.

u hav to check the check box use narriation and when u pick up the note it will close right away

What exact features/things are we talking?

More detailing of the maps, architectural details. I find myself running into a lot problems with setting up stairs or transitions between rooms without the use of typical doorways.

Plus, a lot of the AAMFP assets I have no idea what they're for, or rather, how to use them.

Yes for architecture that would be great! As the actual miniscule detailing aspect (like pottery, books, etc.), is not an issue and like you said is so varied it'd be difficult to really teach.
