You could place the lang\eng\voices\diaries folder into custom_stories to see if it works.

Do you mean a copy of the diaries folder with everything in it (original game + custom content), or a new folder (with only custom story content) with the same root, only inside the custom story folder?

I will probably try something like that tomorrow, but right now I celebrate this victory^^.

Only custom content.
My understanding is that, game searches everything in original files first, then switches into custom story folder. That means, while working, put everything to both, but for release, only custom content in custom story folder.

Hmmm, it would be awesome if it had worked, but no, made the game crash...Seems I have to release the game with ppl having to copy and paste some voice files into the original diary's folder...
