Help! Can't break the window in the study!

I have thrown skulls, tools and objects from another room hundreds of times at the
window in the study but it doesn't break! Also tried clicking on the window multiple times without success. (I am on a Mac, if that matters). What can I do?

Perhaps the wrong window? If not try reloading a previous save...

You can't break that windows (the first one) until you get a script scene like something tries to break it from outside.

If nothing happens... well then, you need to roll back to the older savegame.
