Music  Music Showcasing

While I'm waiting for the Mac tools to spring forth from development hell, I tried my hand at crafting some Mikko Tarmia-inspired ambients, maybe useful in a custom story should anyone find them suited to their liking. (I or a friend might use one in a different project as well, though)

(See the song descriptions as well, plz)

http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=152605 - Note, this one's probably a bit more Penumbra-esque, and more mysterious than scary.

Great, I really love it. Where can you learn how to make such music?

I'm mostly self-taught on this; I think what it takes is familiarity with whatever workstation you use, and a good grasp on what sort of feelings Amnesia's music provoke...

And of course, always compose in the dark! Big Grin

EDIT: Here, have another http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=152645

Then convert it to ogg. Tongue It's in MP3 format because the site needs it for streaming.

Really great compositions here, I can easily imagine these tracks to be used in a custom story. Again, great work! Big Grin

RE: Music Showcasing

Thankth you guyth. :3

http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=152799 - Gamemakingdude kinda requested something that built suspense... I don't think this quite fits the bill on all accounts, but it has more of a backing rhythm to keep it "moving". Then again, I'm not sure if that would desensitize the player to atmospheric sounds or what... I need to test these out. XD

Please, can you tell me what programs you used to make these songs?
