Compiling a list of Custom Stories

Hi all, I made a post over at the Steam forums highlighting all of the current custom maps with something released.

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/sh...st19993513

If there are any I missed, would you mind linking me to them? Blush

RE: Compiling a list of Custom Stories

Very good, but there's three other maps that i know wich aren't on the list.

Balthasar's Sorrow
http://www.moddb.com/games/amnesia-the-d...ars-sorrow

Pandemoneus Map
http://www.mediafire.com/?fyeqwi3zbt39bz5

Cursed Summoning
http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-5076.html

Please keep it updated ;D

This forum should be re-organized... Like creating a section for general modifications only and another for custom stories only, then 3 sub sections: "Work In Progress", "Finalized Stories" and "Discontinued Stories", something like this would be really good

don't have discontinued things, you want it to be a list, not a pile of everything, keep it clean

personally I recommend re-doing that thread and having several posts in a row so you can hot-link to each post with things organized in that

Well, how would you suggest organizing it? A section for WIP, finished projects or what?

Post 1, Have a main post, your navigation, with all the links
Post 2, News and when the list was last updated
Post 3, Finished and released works
Post 4, Works in progress
Post 5, keep as a breaker between your posts and new posts, also ideal for future incase you need to expand
post 1 Wrote:

Newest additions are
Forbidden Castle

Wake - DamnNoHtml

Forbidden Castle - HumiliatioN

Stayin' Alive - machosalad

just having links is better, it saves you updating and changing quotes every time or getting the wrong quote by mistake
Edit: Btw, Asylum is being worked in by DIGI Byte & XiphirX

I noticed you spelt the case wrong on my name

Except you're wrong about discontinued stories, there's no reason for unfinished work to get it's own section, just let it get buried.

A release, and wip section would do just great.

essentially we have that already, the showcase section is essentially for showing of finished works while development remained in the custom stories root thread

Except the regular section is just a post whatever place, and the showcase is specifically dedicated to all the actual work. [Image: raise.gif]
