Crashes at startup

I'v been having a problem that i'v been trying to fix for the past 7 hours. i gave up so i came here. i bought amnesia off steam and i can start it up but once i get to the title screen, my screen blanks out and it stops responding. then it says my atiKMdag graphics card crashed and recovered. iv tried stopping handfuls of firewalls and other applications but no dice. also updated every driver i could but still no dice. anything that could help would be greatly appreciated.

Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870

1) Update your drivers
2) Post HPL.log from my documents/amnesia/main

Yes, update the drivers by downloading latest from ati.com and you can also try making sure catalyst a.i is turned off in the ATI control panel.
