How do I play this exactly? Sanity/Light and Darkness - please explain

yeah, half of the game i couldn't get enough oil or tinder boxes, but after a while you wise up and you start to find that there is way too much around the place.

Agreed Later at the game u start finding lots of equipment, what is good i think only that they should have placed them more near the beginning

There was a bit too much equipments at the beginning too, IMO.

I used lot of oil and saved lot of tinderboxes becouse of the style of camping in corners, after a while i would run trough the room screaming.. Later at the game that changed :c

Sanity takes a long...long time to return, if you're at slight headache you're good to move, just remember to watch it.

I play at a gamma level of 0.6. Maybe that's too low? What gamma level do you guys use when playing Amnesia?

The gamma level should be OK if the right square is no longer visible. Anything lower will be bad. My gamma is set to 1.0.

I'm just curious, what is your gamma level right now?

I just put my gamma level up to 0.8. It's a lot easier to see, while still appearing to be rather dark and creepy. Thanks for your help.
