Non GPL version of HPL

is there, or will there ever be a non-GPL version of HPL?

I'm sure you could purchase a non-GPL licence if you wanted to, but why would you want a non-GPL version?

If you want a non gpl licensed version you can contact Thomas or Jens to discuss purchasing a license. The GPL was chosen for very specific purposes, just like ID software licenses their game engines under the GPL.
