[Solved] Editor crashing every 5 minutes

Also.. try going into your "[HOME]/Library/Frictional Games/HPL2/" folder and remove the Temp and Thumbnails folders.

Will do for now on.

and just to clear up about the temp and thumbnails: there was no /frictional games/hpl2/ in the library folder, but i found them in in /library/application support/

OK.. I have got it to crash:-D

a *workaround* is to move your mouse to the "right" a little so the tooltip doesn't show up.. then it won't crash.

I'm looking further into the issue and poking the guy who mostly wrote the level editor as well.

Oh wow, yeah I noticed that before, the tooltips would show up.
Never occured to me that could be the reason for the crash :O

Thanks for posting that video and explanation, for the time being this should help me understand where the crashes are coming from and how to avoid them.

Ok.. I've found the issue, and have a fix.. Just testing a wee bit more.. and fixing another issue I found real quick.. I'll have an update most likely by tomorrow.
