Upscaling Grunt... (How to?)

I have spent a few hours trying to work this out. I can't simply scale him up in the level editor, as in-game, the game will stick to the default scale model.

I can't create my own .ent file, by modifying 'Body Scale', as this doesn't have any affect and if I remember correctly, stopped the grunt from working in-game.

I have Maya 2011 and Blender. I tried importing the .dae file for the grunt in Blender (2.49b) and I couldn't get it to import. Also, I managed to import the model into Maya 2011, however when I exported the upscaled model, I got errors and when I tried to use it in the level editor, it just crashes.

Does anyone know how I would go about, or even better, upscale a grunt for me (to scale factor 3 in X, Y and Z) ???

Any help is greatly appreciated! Big Grin

I tried that once too (just made it way more tiny), and couldn't get it to work either. I think the game rescales it everytime so the skeleton for the animation still fits the mesh.
