Black Screen

I get black screen when reading the letter in amnesia (I think it's 3rd part of diary letter). when i click on that letter main character slowly falls on ground and screen goes black. after that i can't see anything no matter how long i try. i do still hear some noise. can anyone explain what's wrong? Sad

Maybe it's a scripted event and needs to happen? Did you wait to see what will happen next?

Temporary turn down all graphics settings to minimum and then try to play through this part.

I reinstalled the game and it helped. or maybe it worked with decreasing graphics settings. anyway it works now. thanks for your help
