*Spoilers* When do you encounter the scene from the ad?

Finished my play-through of amnesia, but I never encountered the scene featured in the ads for amnesia ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M627-obxNzg )
Was I supposed to? :\
In fact, I encountered very little enemies in the last sections past the sewer, obviously apart from that little gang-nab, and briefly after shutting down the machine, and it just seemed weird?
Still had me cowering in the corner for most of it though

Maybe it was made for the ad, not for the full game?

Yeah, I think it was made for the ad.

Which is awesome since they managed to create something both engaging and authentic to the atmosphere while not spoiling any of the game.

On another note, someone once mentioned making a that scene into a custom story, would have been neat.

I love that Frictional cares enough about their games to go to the trouble of creating a whole stand-alone scenario for their trailer. Rather than spoil the hell out of everything like most trailers and ads seem to do these days.

Certainly would have been one of the scariest moments in the game if it had been playable.

Ahhh it makes so much sense yeah, kudos to Frictionalgames on thinking that out really well
any one else think this would make a great "text" to analyse in school? All we've spent the last two years doing is learning about how characters are represented in texts through use of conventions... I can just imagine writing an essay on how these guys are represented and actually enjoying the essay :O
