Amnesia-The-Dark-Decent FATAL ERROR msg. - Renderer #0? NVIDIA FX5700LE - Buffers?

Installed the game - get to the settings page where you first set up the graphics/video settings etc. - then a Error message pops up stating: " FATAL ERROR: Renderer #0 could not be initialized! Make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date. Check log file for more information."
Can someone help me out?
I mean it doesn't take a powerful computer to run the game - my video card is NVIDIA GeForce FX5700LE. It's probably something simple I am missing - sorry if you guys get these a lot- I searched the forums for some answers but fell short.
I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 32-bit if that matters.

Did u try running in administrator?

Try lowering the graphics.

Thats about it.

Do you get this, error on the demo.

Downloaded a Driver pack, maybe that will work.

Now I am getting the "Error!" pop up saying; "Not enough drawbuffers supported! make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date!" ... just downloaded the drive pack from NVIDIA.

Yeah I am having the same exact problem. I know I should be able to run this game. Like my graphics card is updated. I went to the website to give it an update and when I checked, it was going to give me an outdated version >_>


So I don't know what to do. I bought this game at Christmas time and every time I try to figure something out, that error still shows up. So hopefully I can get some help. I would like to play and get the crap scared out of me

I'm giving up on trying to solve this issue - searched the deepest abound internet sites possible for over two hours - wanted to get the crap scared out of me as well

Requirements are to have a GF 6 or better, so afraid a FX5700 is below requirements.

Getting the exact same error, spent about 2 hours getting it installed and finally i got and then it crushes my hopes, sigh
i dont want to live on this planet anymore
