Billboards halo question

is there a way to don't let the billboard- halo 'shine' through the objects? Tongue
it's really annoying, when i place some of them i can see them at the playerstart area Rolleyes though i cant let them be activated by something hmmm... only by a light, but in my case i use the halo for a .ps file Tongue
any tips? Smile

Nope, it's the same as with lights. The engine doesn't calculate obstructing objects.

Aye, only something like soft particles (If the Billboards are technically particles.) could do that maybe, but then you would need DirectX 10 and Amnesia is DirectX 9 I believe.
