I've found around 140 Tinderboxes in the game.

Btw, this game really needs some achievements. They would increase my personal rating of the game from 100 to 110%.

I had 80 something tinderboxes.

I've decided to record a playthrough of this. The first 36 minutes is rendering and will be up on YouTube within a day or so (probably).

Are there so many tinderboxes in the game?
I think I even did not pick up this many tinderboxes. Big Grin

I'd say bigger challenge is to light them all without altering the natural tinder amount =o

Impossible. There are more light sources than tinderboxes.

I rarely lit lights, and searched everything.

I rarely lit lights because I'm accustom to stealth games, and prefer being in the dark rather than the light. My sanity was a mess.

the water lurker chase scene because there are some candles when you're being chased that aren't lit and that includes the possibility of one at the dead end.
Also there are two paths through that level.

Then it'd be a helluva challenge wouldnt it? xD!

Hah, joking aside, do we count lights that you can light but go out at a later point? - like at the bottom of the large stone spiral stairs leading from the prison into agrippa's room. When you come back later, the bottom of that stairway and the hall leading to agrippa and the laboratory are partially collapsed and the torches are unlit.

Or the room with the chemical you pick up and the barrels fall from the rafters, the candles and torches blow out - which instance of lighting the candles count?

anything you can find that is possible to light (so far all the lights I've seen are possible to light)

If you give yourself infinite tinderboxes it shouldn't be a problem, the main challange of this is
1) Lighting candles that are extremely risky to light (chase scene candles for example)
2) Not being able to hide (Its pretty much a unspoken rule to light candles when you see them, and are able to. Like not if a grunts right there, but if you see it and you know a grunts coming light it anyways)
3) Searching areas you don't want to linger in for too long (Basically areas enemies patrol in)

Also, I just explored the side-room in the first water lurker area and there are no candles or torches to light in there.
