If you play around too much and get killed by Scruffy (the Grunt) you restart at the beginning.

When you respawn, if the wall in the last room is already caved in, then you can no longer get past it. This means you have to start from the beginning and lose your progress.

Also the slowness at the start really bothered me, though it was good for scares... it made playing your map a little tedious.

Not being able to jump was the worst of all though.

Yes because i didnt set autosave points on map.
