Stephen Rimmer's Alpha Adventure [Completed] - LAST UPDATE 17TH May

No, that's not a spelling mistake.

10 levels in total so far, each about 5-10 mins long(non-speedrun).

Sorry about that, turns out I forgot a unlockdoor command in the third level even though I set up the callback for it. Rest of the levels are now accessible, and water monster should be smarter.

EDIT: Found the problem... I actually had the name for the door in the callback wrong, derp.

Fixed 4 bugs:
Floating candle in servant's quarter
lack of stair quality in the servant's quarter
door slam effect great halls
and the door to the servants quarter not working.

uploading soon.

Also, could someone take a look at the davealpha.map file and tell me why it's giving people low fps? I can't figure it out.

Just make sure that you don't have more than a few lights that cast shadows.

Check out my custom stories(1)(2)!

Thanks, going to try this. Have a few lanterns/torches in the water area which are probably causing it.

cook

ok man, just tried your last version of map.

so, when i opened balcony door on 2-nd floor (via balkony door key) - i walk through corridor, and reach in the end that door
[Image: lastdoor.th.jpg]

and when i enters it, game crashes to desktop:

is that the end of map, or what?

or bug? Big Grin
