RE: [spoiler] This grunt won't gimme a break!

I had a similar situation on my first playthrough. I hid between the shelves in the far corner and waited for him to leave, but he kept standing there.
But if you look away long enough, he'll be gone.
Illusion or not, I still wouldn't go towards that thing.

I'm not sure it's a script, I thought it was you just losing your sanity...no you're right my bad

But yes I did try to run up to the Mr.Face, and I couldn't, and I also tanked the shit out of my sanity.

I think after that I collapsed at least 3 times from loss of sanity lol

Yeah, one thing I'm surprised they never did in game is something I actually made use of while creating a custom story. I bring it up here because this seemed an opportune time to employ this device. Anyway, I have the first grunt in one of my maps set to "disable triggers" but also have a script running to automatically re-enable them after so many seconds.

That happened to me. My parents came bursting into the room after they heard my screams when it was chasing me Big Grin

Hilarious video. I am no longer scared of Amnesia.

I sat there behind the bookshelf for three hours waiting for it to leave before I realized you had to walk toward it to get him to go away.
