Slashes are not random, there are spikes close to walls. Hard to see them though.

No, he doesn't mean the spikes. I know what he means by random slashes, cause it happened to me when I was standing next to a prison floor window. Mostly annoying rather than scary.

Anyhoo, this was a good custom story. The chase was a bit annoying, since it was so easy to slip off. Other then that, it was great. Smile

Yea, there was one part where I made it if you looked down the cell in the wall, you'd hear sound behind you. If you turned around, you'd get slashed by the monster that hides in the cell. Big Grin

And yea I know it was silly, but I decided to leave it there, lol.

Nah, I probably could of made it better, like simulated a monster grabbing you by the legs and dragging you in. But it was just a few test maps I made and I couldn't be arsed to do too much work on it.

And a lot of the scares were pure evil incarnate, I laughed so hard at my friends reactions, I'd played it first, then I got to watch them, I claimed that there were custom stories where people had improved on how to scare people

They didn't believe me

Then they played your custom story

They do now

Don't worry, these were pretty simple scares for me. I plan to have a much more....compelling atmosphere in my conversion, which will include things like random encounters, and one of those knights come to life. I was gonna do it for that orb piece with those knights, but my Maya file crashed and I couldn't be arsed to redo it, lol.

But yea, I plan to make it very intricate. The start of the game will be in the courtyard of a mansion (you'll see why soon enough). And I'm going to be making hedges and animated grass that sways in the wind, etc. So yea, a lot of complex stuff to look forward to. Big Grin
