If you want it to work, yeah. The grunt has his hair connected to the skeleton as well. You don't have to make a separate bone, you can just skin it to the skeleton that's already there.

well when i skin it whith the skeleton that's already there. my item get all meshed up in the animation. so i've made a seperate bone for the item, but unfortunately it's still crashing Sad

When you skin it, you'd have to make sure the skin weights are set properly. It should work with a separate bone too I think, so check the error log again.
