sound effects? Well, the default ones from objects, entities, materials etc as well as some from Amnesia and Penumbra. In the teaser I used certain sound effects like player scared, sound when openig flash lite, wind etc...

A small update guys, this is a bathroom(not yet completed):



I resumed the mod today after some days because of hardware problems. Hope you like it! Penumbra for the rescue again of course!

Very nice but this mod is coming slowly... I know its taking time but can you make progress come any faster?

Thank you HumiliatioN. Unfortunately...I don't think so. If you have played the old alpha Unbirth you will notice that it is big and because of its nature all those models are hard to be converted and etc... Actually, not hard but time wasting.

Well, for like 10 months I will be very busy and so the project will be slow. Sorry about that guys. My main chance to really give it a small boost is now and August. Afterwards and for 10 months as I said...lot's of things to do. Don't worry though, it will not get abandoned as I kept saying a month ago.

Updates:

1) Unbirth is now on ModDB. Some new pictures are there now as well as the already released early teaser. Check it out please and if you like it, support it the best way you know and can!

2) I simplified this topic a lot and made it easier to read. Also added ModDB links and updated the picture and status. Take a look!

Hello to everyone,

This is a pack with Infected+Dog from Penumbra to Amnesia by me for all the Frictional Games players/moders/members/funs! Read the full changelog, a small description, some notes and the installation procedure below.

Copy and paste at a clean installation of Amnesia. Nothing should be overwritten normally.

***REMADE BASED ON EVERLONE'S RELEASE AND ALL THE ORIGINAL PENUMBRA FILES***

1) Opened all animations, working or not, as well as main model with ModelEditor and re-exported the .dae, .ent, .anm and .msh files.
2) Renamed all .dae animation files to .dae_ANIM and deleted all .ent files from Animation folder that caused the LevelEditor to crash.
3) Removed unused, useless, corrupted .dae, .ent, .jpg as well as some audio files.
4) Opened ModelEditor and added all animations based on the Grunt ones, otherwise the model would crash.
5) Changed the Run animation speed which was too low making the model run slowly.
6) Found out that the dog files MUST be at folder redist/entities/enemy/dog/dog folder (dog folder twise, otherwise it crashes)
7) Added more sound effects and related music for the dog and updated the included .snt files for audio.
8) Added sounds and music to the model using the ModelEditor and tried to improve timings at every animation.
9) Added ambiance & attack music taken from Penumbra
10) Tested the dog multiple times, it is ready and fully functional.

Notice: The model files of the dog MUST be put at folder: "redist/entities/enemy/dog/dog".
