Grass

Hello, .. again xD

uuhm I noticed during testing (after spamming my map fullwith grass >.<) that you can't actually walk THROUGH grass, so I'm wondering how the maker of LaCaza did that.
Did he just use photoshop textures?

or did he make his own grass model?

Thanks in advance

RE: Grass

It's quite simple, I use it all the time.

Click on the grass in the editor, then set it's properties from collision to false (by unchecking the box).

There! It's done! Except... You'll have to do it with every single grass you placed unless you remove all of it and copy and paste it all on from the original one that has no collision. :/

already removed like 400 of them haha, so I can start over like you said. except at the edges the collision is fine

I have the same problem, but the grass is set to no collision.

La Caza's grass is set the exact way mine is in the editor, but for some reason mine won't let me walk through it.

Grass! Y U NO LET ME PASS!??

RE: Grass

Did you save it already? And delete any .mapcache files. They should be beside your .map file.

RE: Grass

I noticed that although grass (as with pretty much any other static object) does start off with Collides unchecked, but still has it enabled. Disable it by checking and unchecking again the box, and it should be proper now.
