Penumbra Overture:the floor becomes gray

Hi,
I'm playing PO on windows7..in works fine the most of the times, but sometimes the floor changes into gray and it is impossible to see what is on it, if there's an hole and so on. I can walk on it but I can't see anything. I've tried to change settings, but the problem is still present

And make sure your drivers are up-to-date for the graphics card.
