Amnesia for me is REALLY laggy in a medium sized room, and unplayable in a large room, are there any texture packs that are more low resolution or what have you, that will reduce lag?

Could you provide your system specifications? How would i do that? i know i have a Windows vista fully updated nividia graphic card, 3 gigabites of ram... all the updates for amnesia downloaded, more than 70 gigabites + on my harddrive available right now

Play around with the settings.
I have played around with them

I know it's a very impractiical and not a very benificial solution, I was just answering his question directly like he asked.(09-13-2011, 11:20 PM)DRedshot Wrote: [ -> ]But if it is such a problem, you could use GIMP to half the resolutions of some of the larger / more common textures, it wouldn't be too dificult! The textures are in DDS format because it is a popular format that supports mipmaps. Mipmaps help improve performance when looking at long distances by picking one of the smaller images within the DDS file. For this reason i claimed that the textures are not the issue.
