Mansionbase - brown

While browsing Amnesia's game files I stumbled upon a texture which apparently was supposed to be used in Amnesia but never made the final cut. Took me about an hour to import meshes and apply the texture. I had to do some modifications to get the flat look instead of the embossed wall piece like the white flowery default piece. Will probably make a second default piece with the emboss. The tileset is the same as the default_extension in mansionbase. To install, extract into the redist/static_objects/ folder. It has:
- doorway
- default
- short
- welder
- window

Flashlight gobo

The flashlight has become fairly popular, but unfortunately it looks pretty dumb without a half-decent gobo map--that being said, here is a half-decent flashlight gobo I drew up over an hour or so...I couldn't get it to look right and it still looks a little funky. Better than nothing though! Screenshot below. It's very vague, but that's intended. Extract the .dds into your redist/lights/ folder. looks neat! but does it make a shadow if a spot light is aimed to it?

So, is it a static_object, texture?

It's a texture. And I just tested it in the level editor--primitives can't cast shadows anyways, even with the casts shadows box checked. At least not shadows from lights placed in the editor. So if you want to have it cast a shadow you'll need to create a custom object using this texture.
