Hi, i am wondering what is required to put my own voice into amnesia for a custom story?

and how do i script it?
A voice is needed.
It depends on what kind of voice effect would you want to use. Like Agrippa talking? Or voiced diary? They are all changing.
Well, i want to put my own voice in the game for say like a scripted event.

Do you know pewdiepie videos? and he pretends to talk to a pig and one of the statues in the game. Thats what i am trying to voice.
I did some voice acting in my Multimedia class a few weeks ago and we used Audacity to record since the voice will be saved as an .ogg file since i know amnesia uses .ogg and .snt files for music and sound. We also used microphones (any kind will do i think :/) and we made sure the room we were in was silent to eliminate back ground noises from interfering with the voice recordings to get superb quality and use.
Where should i put my custom sound files? Into the story folder?

no in the sound folder in your amnesia game.
In your custom story directory(The one in custom_stories, bearing the title of your story), make a folder called

sounds

Drop all of your custom sounds into here.
And if i wanted to use it in the game how would i point to it?

Depends on the function, but always by file name. You usually don't need to specify the path, just the file name. This is assuming they're in your story's or game's "sounds" or "music" directory.
Ive tried it by file name and it doesnt work.
