I downloaded the update and started Amnesia but the "Justine" option wasn't on the options. When the installer asked where to download the new update I just put it in the Amnesia folder, should I have made a new one? Please help.

yes i installed it. But when I opened Amnesia it didnt show up. I'm not running it on Steam.
When you open the launcher, it should have a new button named Justin in the bottom right corner of the launcher. If it does not show up, then it means it is not installed properly or not installed at all.
I have the same issue. I got the update that frictional games released. I installed it and selected the amnesia dark decent folder. When I'm done installing it I cant find the Justine button on the launch menu. When I looked in program files (NON STEAM VERSION) in my amnesia folder, all I found is another Amnesia the dark decent folder in it. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its contents are: redist, Remember- Short story collection.pdf, unsit000.dat, unsit000, unsit000.msg. THANKS AND PLEASE HELP QUICKLY.
why not use the installer?
I told you, I ran the installation process. Justine just isn't there.
the default location of installation is C:\Program Files\Amnesia - The Dark Descent for retail users. If you installed the game in a different direction, make sure you choose that one during the patch installation.
The Justine button is at the down right corner of the launcher btw...
