downloaded and extracted white night and put it in custom storys folder but its not showing on custom storys in game
It's a full conversion, not a standard story; the installation is different. I haven't downloaded it yet, but usually there is a readme file that you can refer to for download instructions.

simply extract all the content into your amnesia folder (in my - retail - case):

did that now how do i start the game
Run the white night batch file (with the extension .bat)

wont open box quickly comes up and goes
Read the readme file inside the download.
If you really can't do it, use Desura installation.
