anyone know what causes game stutter im playing white night in windowed mode 1920x1080 and sometime it runs ok then it stutters in places
The game is simply being overwhelmed by the objects in the map.
you probably have a slower graphics card, that's why.
i have a gigabyte gtx460 super overclock edition
same graphics card. It is the game's problem. Don't worry about it...

Aside from breaking the custom story into more pieces (which would mean more loading screens), the only possible optimizations would come from the graphics card drivers and from FrictionalGames.

I have this card at my desktop but I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have this problem. I played WN at my laptop ans so I don't know.
