Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

(I just purchased the game today at Best Buy.)

I am able to install the game and make it to the main menu screen, start a new game and watch the opening cinema. However, after that my screen turns black and my only solution is alt-ctrl-del. No error messages pop up during this.

My specs:

1.5 G of Memory.
Processor: Intel Celeron 2.00 Ghz
Intel® 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
Windows XP

Unfortunately the game does not run on Intel based graphics, you'll need and ATI or NVIDIA card. Maybe maybe it will work if you use the very latest drivers available, but normally the game does not run on intel cards.
