After playing Penumbra, I looked up predatory worms in real life, and was surprised to find out one example species. The Bobbit Worm is a sea dwelling worm that eats, among other things, fish! It's odd, worms are normally pictured as earthworms which are eaten by fish, and here we have a large worm eating fish!

However, does anyone know land going predatory worms?

Either way, it's neat to know their are real carnivorous worms in the world.
