you know, you really don't have to swear needlessly in your story
swearing fits with my cs
cause the person didnt get the key in the piano and got hit by the amnesia monster

That's a really sad excuse.

Daniel had a lot a lot a lot of things done to him and he never swore like that.
In my opinion swearing kinda breaks the immersion, since it's something we hear so often in casual speech. idk I know the way Daniel and Alexander spoke really added to the whole immersion of the world.
It just seems out of place to me.
I think swearing can be done well, but is most often unnecessary and as Daktoa said, kinda breaks immersion. If you want to do it well, don't just put it there for the sake of putting it there. That just seems like children swearing because they think it's cool.
daniel says where is that b*ich in the campaign
ill put the bad words in my cs when a problem happens like you pick up a key and the monster spawns behind you
Once again, you have to use it right. Daniel says that after murdering a little girl, the use of this somewhat out of character cursing shows that Daniel is trying to convert his guilt into anger and somehow justify killing her for the sake of an experiment. It's all about how you use it, I don't think you should just throw them around, but it's your custom story and you can do what you want.

I think the only really appropriate time to swear is when you have realised your own stupidity in doing something, or something unexpected happens to a high degree. Either way, I think the more likely response would be to yell, scream, jump around eradically or out of instinct, apologise to someone else despite not being the cause for it.
Example 1: Leaving your only house key inside your house after locking the door.
Example 2: Walking through an engineering building and a steam pipe suddenly bursts, burning your face.
Stop playing games like COD:Black Ops. They have far too many examples of poorly done swearing.
k i wont put a bad word when a monster spawns. ill put a gasp noise instead
