did't know in what forum that fits....

every time i play custom storys where i have to combine a stonehammer and a chipper it says 'combination doesnt work'....really EVERY TIME.
my boyfriend and i played the same story at the same time....he was able to combine that...i wasnt :/

that sucks really hard cause i want to end these storys ://

See if the hpl.log provides any insight, the one located at Documents/Amnesia/Main.

A lot of custom stories probably do item combination scripting in a specific map's script file. Try combining the items in all of the levels accessible.
