So I wanted to have this little video loop that says like: Warning!... etc. in the pre-menu of my Full Conversion... I have been able to change the image section and replace them with mine in config/pre-menu.cfg

But would it also be possible for me to start a .wmv video file in the pre-menu?

.wav is an audio format, I can't see how you want to play a video with that.
HPL2 cannot play videos.

Or you could try to do it the long way and take the video frame by frame and save as pictures, then make an animated spotlight on a white primitive =P It's possible, just not as a video format. Frame by frame animation only.

Spot light with a gobo is very limited, it would have to be projected into a white "canvas" etc.
Frames made into billboards would be a sure way to get the best quality, not sure why anyone would like to do that though...

Your better off looking at how this was done, Vyzor did a really good job of it and although it may not be a video. Its still pretty darn good.
