Like the title says, does anyone know how I can take a .mesh file (there is also a .mesh.ascii) and import it into Blender (or Maya 2011 if possible) so I may play around with the model in Maya and export as a .dae?

Thanks guys!
I can't find any .mesh files--first time hearing of such a format. Unless i can get a hold of a .mesh file i won't be able to help you.

I have a similar issues, but I have both the .mesh and the .mesh.ascii files but cannot import them into blender. But as you said, a .mesh file will do.

Could I ask what that method is?
