How can I best enjoy the sound of AMFP?" I hope you enjoy it!
Sunday is a great day for work!
If someone plays Amnesia with laptop speakers, I will hunt him down and rip the puny speakers out of his laptop and feed them to him in a very violent manner.
Even though the 3D effect of the sounds is weird with headphones, I still rather use my AKG-K530's than my cheapish
computer speakers. The quality and detail is just so much better with decent priced headphones than decent priced desktop speakers.

I really like how dedicated you are to the player base
Always posting and keeping us up to date on what you can. Even though I haven't played any of thechineseroom's games I can tell you're going to do a good job because I've heard a lot of good things and you really seem to care about the people who will play.
You guys are the ones we're making the game for! We really hope you enjoy it
7.1 headphones? Interesting. Well if they work as well as the marketing suggests then I'm sure they'll sound great! From reading the specs certainly seem as though they'll do the trick. Although the fine print states that if you want to use 7.1 surround sound you'll need a compatible sound card as well.
This game is sounding quite unique indeed. This is probably the one quote that peaks the anticipation for me --> "We want this game to be absolutely skin-crawlingly, heart-shatteringly, and nerve-jarringly terrifying -- that's the target. Everything is geared around that. Just turning people to complete ice and making them have complete meltdowns" - good ol' Pinchbeck. Damn. When was the last time you heard someone say something even remotely similar in intensity about a game? This game sounds like it'll be in a class of it's own.

When/where did he say this? I'd like to read where that came from if possible
When you say not meant for headphones, the term seems vague to me (but of course I don't know sound the way you do).
Will a better gaming set 5.1, in-line amp, handle well, or does this odd left/right balance issue always occur. I have trouble seeing the big difference you're example speaker set gives (2 speaker + sub).
Like I said I don't know sound just curious.
