Can you explain what this potato sack is please
The potato sack was the Portal 2 ARG, it was a bundle of games were Amnesia was included, Justine was created for the bundle. If you check steam right now you can buy the entire game bundle very cheaply.

Oh ok, so the sale ends when the Bundle ends, and the timer ends?
Only three hours away right now. I can't wait! Hopefully it is a trailer, or a demo.
Most likely a trailer, demos tend to come last.
Even if it was a demo, I wouldn't play it.
I chose story because that's the most important part for one thing. One could have a great atmosphere, but a lousy story. Atmosphere is important too, otherwise it the scares to the story would have the same affect in the wrong atmosphere. Penumbra and Amnesia 1 both had great stories (Penumbra's was longer, but Amnesia offered you multiple ending options).
Here I thought 'Monsters' would be a choice option, part of me is eager to see what new and scary creatures are in it. These new monsters would easily be used in new custom stories.
I don't think it is a demo, because, IIRC, Amnesia's demo was released short before the actual game release.. It wouldn't make sense to release demo right now, when there is almost half of a year until full release.

I beg to differ. Ever played
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or the original
Ghost Recon?

The multiple endings really didn't work. If you want to have multiple endings you have to have events in the game that lead towards different endings, instead of just having a choice at the end, because then you are basically just choosing which movie file you want to watch. Amnesia would have been basically perfect if it had a more focused, non-optional ending like Penumbra (which had a very good ending).

Ghost Recon no, at least not that much, but I have played STALKER (only most of it, unfortunately) and it does have an interesting story. Maybe not the basic plot connected with your main character (don't know how it ends though) but backstory counts as story too. Which paradoxically is what creates the atmosphere most of the time. If the environment isn't interesting then achieving an interesting atmosphere is difficult.
1:30... My butt is excited.
