Taking the directory error of each of the employes who have one and putting them ino order according to their number I get a password - 561ywk
It doesn't seem to work for anything though. However as it's missing letters and numbers from two users, perhaps this is a final password to something like the admin account? once we've got the stuff from Jens and Dan.

That is an additional folder in the HPL2.1 directory in nextfrictionalgame.com
http://www.nextfrictionalgame.com/hpl2.1/561ywk/ full url, it will probably be accessible as soon as we figure more stuff out.
Right, if that's it them I'm at a complete stop here, no idea how to continue, I guess we need to figure out what to do with the code provided from the image.
In case someone has not yet picked it up, the letters provided are - p f c i c n i m s o i g g
Now if they are connected to the HPL BASIC V3, this should either be a password, a sound file or a file we can load from the ''floppy''- I tried entering the name of the imagefile zip into the load command and it claimed it didnt' recognise the file, which means there is a specific or several file/files we can get to with this command.

Do chinese people eat zukini?
I just installed Dear Esther. I'm going to play it now and see if I can find anything, I'll be back soon!
Alright, I'm at a complete stop now, can't think of a single thing to do.
I don't think p f c i c n i m s o i g g is an anagram for anything.
Each one of these letters mean something, their locations on the image might also be important?
Also, this is just a fragment of the image, it has obviously been cut off. We're going to need the other pieces in order to form anything understandable out of these letters.
I don't think the game Dear Esther has anything to do with this. The clue about the island Boreray was just to give us another hint about FG working with The Chinese Room. I've also played through the whole game and didn't find anything relevant.
