I am still trying to make a custom story I tried various tutorials (including YC's videos and others) but I cannot figure this out... this is starting to get depressing...
1) This is in the wrong forum section.
2) What are you asking?...
^Why are all of the tools not working properly in the dev. kit? I can get them to launch but once they are open they lock up (according to window's they are not unresponsive) but they simply will not let me use the tools...
Erm.... Do you mean they freeze? And do you know the hotkeys?
1) Was it installed correctly? It must all be pasted into the root/redist folder.
2) Was the game torrented or bought?
3) Is your computer capable of running it? (stupid question, assuming you've played the game itself)

No

Does the motherboard have an on-board graphics card? And are your graphics card drivers up-to-date?

I have a Nvidia GeForce GT 430 graphics card and I have auto updates (in the graphics card control menu) on - it updates to the latest driver (beta).
