Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

whenever i try to open Penumbra it fails to do so, and the "penumbra.exe" is shown as a blank/unknown file. and if i try clicking on it the screen goes dark, the mouse changes color from white to black, the screen gets slightly zoomed in/enlarged, then everything goes back to normal. do i need to update any cards or what? help please?!

what operating system/distro do you have? graphic card ATI or NVIDIA? Is the game full patched up?

Make sure that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.
