I am making a custom story called Random Horror and its based of my movie script and I need help how make my custom stroy from it
First download the HPL Development kit.
Then, study the wiki, look up scripting tutorials, and get good with the editor. I suggest Elven's youtube videos.
You will first need the kit, Once that's done you have to go into the folder in the amnesia the dark descent folder and then enter the folder custom stories, create a new folder, name it what ever you want the name of the story to be. create a folder in that called "maps", "entities"(Optional if you want more monsters and shit other than the grunt) and "sounds", "music" (Optional if you want custom sounds). extract the files from the kit into the amnesia the dark descent folder and then go into the "LevelEditor.exe" and use the "Primitives" for the floor and "Static Objects" for wall and shit "Entities" for other things like the furniture and monsters. Save the file into the maps folder you created into the custom story folder and then reply if you want more help, like setting up some testing stuff.
tha was the promblem I can't test it
I can't find it on my custom story floder so what do i need to do I mean on the custom story menu

even tho my videos are mostly about scripting

What do you mean? You can't find the folder? Depends if you have for steam or not(REPLY IF STEAM). You have to have two scripts at first to actually see it in the Game Custom stories.
just use youtube and you'll be set
