Heh, no. I'm guessing it's an advertisement for showing what the engine can do, even if it was quite basic.
Also, hurray for water reflections!
That part about prying the door off with a steel rod was a nice touch. I like how the player has to do stuff all by himself instead of watching his character doing it for him.

I think he mashes the ceiling (behind the book shelf) with something and escapes that way.
he moved that shelve and there was a vent. we've all seen him go through vents. quite possible he went in there.

Does anyone know the minimum system requirements for Black Plague?
Black plague uses the same engine as Overture. So likely the same system requirements; might even run alittle better with improvements to the engine (if any)
